Ripley’s central location is the key

POSTED November 19, 2017

FIRST home buyer Divy Arvind Shah is moving into his newly built Ecco Ripley family home this year. Divy will be settling in with his wife Neetal Mehta and their newest family member, two-year-old Aayan.

The pair are looking forward to the convenience of the Ecco Ripley location, as well as the many lifestyle opportunities on offer within the masterplanned community.

Why did you decide to purchase in the Ipswich region, and particularly Ripley?

We’ve been living in Ipswich, at Bundamba and felt it was the right time to buy my first home for our family. Ripley is very central as there’s direct access to the motorway and my workplace is very close by. It’s also very accessible to both Brisbane’s CBD and Springfield.

Why did you choose Ecco Ripley over other estates in the region?

Ecco Ripley is perfectly located for us, and it also has so much growth potential with the Ripley Town Centre now under way. I feel as though Ecco Ripley is very secure and has a strong community focus, which is ideal when you’re looking for a place to raise a family. The new Ripley Town Centre will be within walking distance from our home – everything my family needs will be so close.

Did the $20,000 First Home Owners grant have any influence in your decision to purchase?

The increase of the First Home Owners grant to $20,000 was a major influence on our decision to purchase this side of Christmas. It’s such a great opportunity and allowed us to gain a foothold on the property ladder.

What do you like most about Ecco Ripley as a development and the community that is growing there?

Apart from location Ecco Ripley has so much to offer us as a family, from the parklands to the natural environment which makes it so peaceful and tranquil – a great place for the family to be active when we want and to relax when we need to. Everything is so well suited to our lifestyle and we’re looking forward to enjoying what has been planned here for our community.

How did you find the purchasing process?

This process was surprisingly very simple and easy. Most people looking to purchase property normally take six to eight months from the time you decide to buy and then finalise the transaction. In my case, it only took two days. We were happy with what was on offer and knew we were making the right decision. It helped that the staff at Ecco Ripley were all very helpful and explained the entire process in a way that we understood. The purchase of our first home was stress-free and simple, and not once did we doubt our decision.

What process did you go through when choosing a builder?

This process goes hand-in-hand with the land purchase. It was simple. We loved what Sekisui House offered as a builder and their designs conveniently suited our needs.

How is the morning commute to work?

It will only take 10 minutes for me to get to work every day as I work locally.

Is Ecco Ripley a long-term living option?

Definitely. We don’t see ourselves living anywhere else.

Ecco Ripley, which is established in the heart of the Ripley Valley region, offers land from $173,000 and lots which range in size from 300sqm to 585sqm.

All lots are NBN ready and offer natural gas connection.

All homes in the community are within walking distance to the planned $1.5 billion Ripley Town Centre and surrounding 10 hectares of parklands. Homes are suitable for first home buyers, investors, second home buyers and downsizers.
